Montara Collies and Stockdog training is located in mid Missouri
We are a very small hobby farm and kennel, concentrating on training and trialing our Collies at AKC, ASCA and AHBA herding trials.
We started training and showing our Collies in Conformation and Obedience in 1990. Agility, and Herding followed within a few years. We have also dabbled in Tracking, therapy dog work and Rally along the way.

Becky is an AKC Herding judge with 15 years experience training and trialing Collies, as well as other breeds. She also enjoys helping others to attain their goals through private lessons and clinics

We are VERY proud to have bred or owned; Best In Show, Best In Specialty Show, #1 in USA and National Specialty winners in Conformation, as well as multiple High In Trial Obedience and Herding dogs. Our dogs have also competed in Agility, Tracking, Rally and worked as therapy dogs in nursing homes and hospitals. Above all, they have been wonderful pets, companions and best friends.
